Um dia me disseram que quem perde alguém querido no meio do caminho da vida é capaz de sacrificar uma data para sempre.
Pensei em apagar o dois de junho do meu calendário. Só que não mais me lembrar dele, significaria abstrair o dia em que tive consciência de sua importância na minha história. O que ficou dessa nossa vida compartilhada mostrou-me que a despedida física, jamais significaria dizer adeus aos seus conselhos, às suas histórias, às lembranças mais felizes que guardo da minha infância. Realizar isso fez da dor, saudades.
Mais. Não ter você, aqui, tornou evidente que nossa conexão é pra sempre. Transcende ao sobrenome. É muito maior que o molde genético. Supera até mesmo as lembranças das situações vividas. É como um escapulário sob a camiseta que não se vê. Uma jabuticaba – como a dos seus olhos, você diria – porque a semente é quase do tamanho da própria fruta. Não há um dia sequer em que não pense em você. Sabe quando eu ficava gritando “Olha agora! Olha, Vô! Olha o que eu aprendi a fazer”? Continuo gritando, só que em pensamento. Eu sei que você escuta. Por vezes sei que você responde, sorrindo.
Fisicamente, você não está aqui. E, nunca antes te senti tão perto. Hoje, meu coração sente em paz, que de longe você enxerga com meus olhos e sente o que me vai na alma, como parte de mim, e não como mero interlocutor das minhas conversas.
O mais engraçado de tudo é perceber você, que acompanhou tão de perto cada passo meu, ainda mais próximo agora. Antes, tinha a sensação de que o valor do que eu pedia, ou perguntava, era baseado apenas no que, limitadamente, eu conseguia transmitir. Você acreditava em mim, mas sei que não sentia, com a mesma intensidade e urgência, os meus anseios. Talvez também por conta dos muitos anos que nos separavam, ou dos diferentes contextos, perspectivas…
Mas fato é, que se esse nosso novo elo é, como eu sinto que é,espero que compreenda, a lição que dia após dia se confirma – e que se você compartilhasse, quando estava aqui, talvez não tivesse se aborrecido tanto: nem tudo é binário, Vô. Nenhuma pessoa é completamente má, ou completamente boa, ela é apenas humana. Aprendi isso, sangrando a própria carne, quando tomei por meu, o direito de dizer só aquilo que penso e fazer só aquilo que gosto e que entendo que me faz bem. Preciso dizer que não fui bem interpretada?
É por este motivo, que lhe comunico da insistência em manter minha decisão de permanecer onde estou. Sinto por não querer dançar na ciranda para a qual fui convidada – as coisas poderiam ser mais fáceis, eu sei – mas sentiria mais, se tivesse de dançar apenas por obrigação protocolar. Caso alguém venha a tratar desse assunto com você (por que você sabe que para muitos, mudou de lado, vira anjo) e pedir-lhe que interceda, diga o que você quiser, faça o que você quiser. Confio em você. Não diga nada, se achar melhor. Minta – acho que não será pecado. Mas se contar tudo, não se esqueça de dizer que eu sou feliz aqui. Da última vez que conversamos, agradeci-lhe pelo o que havia me tornado, pelo muito que ainda seria graças às bases sólidas que você me deu. Desejei-lhe boa viagem. Pedi que não se preocupasse porque iria continuar cuidando de mim e das nossas corujas. Implorei que não olhasse para trás e que mergulhasse na luz, do mesmíssimo jeito que tantas vezes você fez ao me ensinar a pular do trampolim na nossa piscina azul, em dias de sol.
Um ano depois reforço o que foi dito e lhe confesso: por falha na minha compreensão a seu respeito, por muito tempo eu lhe culpei. Preciso que saiba que hoje eu entendo. Você foi criança tarde, porque antes de todos foi chamado a ser adulto cedo. Só agora sou capaz de aceitar o porquê de certas decisões suas. Então, não é que lhe perdoo, eu simplesmente não o culpo mais. O tempo tá acabando e preciso também dizer que para mim, suas atitudes foram milagres, anônimas como os milagres para os quais os santos levam os créditos.
